It’s that time of year again; a time to start planning for spring , and planting for our future.
We are happy to offer many varieties of tree seedlings this year in celebration of GA Arbor Day, and we hope you will make plans to visit us at the CALHOUN RECREATION DEPARTMENT on
FEBRUARY 19, from 9:00-12:00, to select those trees that are just right for your property.
Here are some of the varieties we will have available this year:
- Bald Cyprus
- Northern Red Oak
- White Dogwood
- VA Pine
- River Burch
- American Elm
- Sweet Gum
- Washington Hawthorn
- Box Elder Maple
- Shumard and Willow Oak
- Pecan
- Sycamore
- PoplarWe have a limited supply of some varieties, so if there is a specific tree you are interested in, plan to arrive at 9:00 a.m.
