Adopt-A-Mile
Adopt-a-Mile (AAM) is a litter reduction and prevention program that raises awareness about the issue of litter and helps keep our community clean. We rely on dozens of volunteers for the success of this program (see below). We invite your civic group, business, family, church, or friends to adopt a mile today!

Rock Bridge Community Church!
Our partners at Rockbridge Community Church — Calhoun completed another Adopt-A-Mile trash pick up on Saturday June 1. Curtis Parkway was cleared of litter and debris. The group started at Krystal and finished at Walgreen’s on Red Bud Road.
17 bags of trash and a couple of interesting items were collected during the clean-up.

Ridge View Neighborhood!
Our partners, Ridge View neighborhood, held a Sunday morning stewardship clean up in May with 9 volunteers and collected 6 large bags of litter over a period of 2 hrs.

Calhoun High School Interact Club!
In December, Interact Club at Calhoun High School worked through an early morning drizzle to help keep River Street beautiful! Learning to serve is a great thing and these kids are killing it! They collected 20 bags of trash from our roadways!!
